VITAMIN B-6, PYRIDOXINE

Thyroid function: Vitamin B-6 is the critical vitamin which facilitates zinc metabolism and therefore is an indirect stimulator which increases thyroid function.  Supplementation of B-6 without zinc (and possibly the amino acid L-Cysteine) may deplete zinc and slow thyroidal function.

Deficiency symptoms: Carpal tunnel syndrome, low thyroid function.
