Hi, I have hypothyroidism for about 10 years after 2 radioactive treatment for my hyperthyroidism at the time, wonder how important is Free T3 test, my Endo refused to prescribe saying it's useless. My recent lab results: TSH-4.8 FT4-1.2 Lab test about a year ago: TSH-2.2 Symptons: serious constipation, tired all the time, depression at times, low body temp. Have added Cytomel 5mcg twice a day plus my original 0.1 levoxyl. Noticed heart rate gone up an hour or 2 into cytomel, wonder if Armour would be better? Any recommendation on Endo doctors in San Jose, CA? Appreciate any thoughts or advice. Tks.
